Our Vision
To create a vibrant, sustainable hub for wilderness education, outdoor recreation and local agriculture to strengthen the community and economy—guided by the Triple Bottom Line: people, planet, and prosperity.
Who We Are
The EEC, an initiative of the Friends of the Historic Thunder Bay Inn and funded in part by a 2024 MDARD grant, is launching a new 3,200 sq. ft. facility to serve residents and visitors through education, recreation, and community-driven programs.
